Busy day yesterday. Will be busy again today. The death of jesus is good for the pub trade.......
Spent a considerable period of time looking for Dot the Dog ( see photo in previous post) who decided to do a runner and head off through the woods into Dotland. Finding her took about 2 hours which wasn't exactly how i was planning to spend those 2 hours. Was with the Gardener, whose dog she is. The Gardener and I are getting on extremely well at the moment, which is great but also isn't great as there is an atmosphere of inevitability around us which neither one of us particularly wants to confront or deal with right now.
Frankly its fairly hopeless. We've ended the affair but it took about 4 days for us to get back to being like a couple. Though we are not having an affair anymore. Nor are we going to. Bah humbug...solutions are there, just need to be taken, i guess.
Been invited out for dinner tonight and to stay over. That will be nice. First time I have gotten out of this place for a night in an awful long time. It will mean an early rise as we are open tomorrow....
